Amy Who?

A twenty-something barely out of university, she’s realised that the game is almost up and that thing in her face? Yeah, that’s the real world. Graduate accountant by day, master of the knitting needles by night, Amy’s many things. Sadly, ‘sane’ is not something that first comes to mind. Neither does ‘sporty’, but that’s a story for another day.

Straight lines, black and white, groups of threes, she’s got a very particular way of doing things. That is, the right way. This way changes daily, so as to avoid predictability. Or logic.

She rambles about the good, the bad, and the glaringly pasty. Rarely makes sense. There’s no rhyme or reason to her posts, much like there’s no rhyme or reason to her thinking patterns.

Amy has a lot of epiphanies, which she promptly forgets.
She likes commas.

This is an artists’ impression of Amy. It was drawn by three monkeys in unison*.

  2. My first visit here. I love the line in Coldplay’s ‘Every Teardrop is a Waterfall’, “I’d rather be a comma than a full stop.” There’s not too many song lyrics about commas, although didn’t Culture Club sing “Comma Chameleon”?

In the words of one of the greatest movies of our generation, Stepbrothers, “Did we just become best friends??!” Lol, your blog and especially this About Me page is awesome! Now, “You wana go do Karate in the garage?”
Just kidding….unless you’re gonna do it.
