Like a Glove

I’m sure we’ve all dreaded clothes shopping at one time or another. As a big girl I definitely hate(d) it. Well, buying tops weren’t so bad – but buying bottoms were terrible! And, given that my body was a couple of sizes smaller on the top than on the bottom, dresses really were impossible.

Baby doll dresses were guaranteed to fit. But a total no-go. (Unless I wanted someone to come along and rub my belly).

So imagine my surprise when I happened to see a delightfully unusual dress out of the corner of my eye and was drawn to it – and tried it on with great success! It fits like a glove. So comfortable. It makes my butt look a fraction of its actual size. And it was half price!

Better yet, the dress is reversible with a zip running the length of the dress that can be worn at the back for a low back and high front, or in the front for a v-neck. Ruffles gather around the neck and shoulders on both side (and because it’s wool, it holds a lot of heat).

I wore it to work today, paired with a pair of black opaque tights and my black suede heels. High ponytail (with plenty of strategically placed bobby pins) and simple makeup. So many compliments! I felt like a million bucks.

Ladies – this feels good (not quite endorphins, but they can go hand and hand)!
If there was ever a secondary motive to be fit, this will be it. Yes. This. Is. It.
