Week one of Couch to 5K complete, and it feels good. Really good.
Having never confidently run before – the short bursts of running were pretty good. I’ve built upsome confidence with running on the treadmill, and no longer care what my thighs look like while I’m working through the intervals.
The first week felt almost too easy, and I may well live to regret saying that. The hardest part of the programme so far has been finding a free treadmill when it’s raining and miserable outside (current count 1 run in the park, 2 at the gym).
I won’t be repeating week one, but I’m definitely going to keep going.
Bring on week two.
